Sitesell – It is the best platform I know for people who want to build a content website but do not know much about internet. It is easy to use and provides all the tools necessary but, most importantly, it will guide you all the way to creating an online business (not just a website!). This is the platform I use for our family website, Marbella Family Fun. It has a small cost of $29 a month, but the content and guidance is worth it many times.
WordPress – This is a popular blog platform. It is free for the basic version, but will cost a small amount once you add features necessary to an online business. It is easy to use, but is more appropriate for people who already know concepts of niche, keywords, back-links, monetisation… This is the platform I use for this blog.
Marbella Family Fun – This is the website we started for the children, which is at the source of the book. Thanks to a simple family project, I realized how content sites could change the life of so many.
TED – A very inspiring site to keep your mind open to the world and get your creative juices flowing. Watch interesting video presentations on many topics. It can help you develop new directions for your content site.
The World Future Society – I enjoy reading articles about current trends and predictions of futurists. It keeps me on my toes and is often a good source for business ideas.
Pachd, Australian public Library – Websites with copyright rules requiring a link back for the service of providing free pictures. Sounds fair. Done.
